Ensemble: A group that will present special music from time to time.

Praise Band: A group that will minister during the contemporary service.

You do not need to know how to read music, or be great either vocally or with an instrument....we’ll work and learn together!

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Come join us on Wednesdy nights at the church from 6:30 - 7:30 for bible study. We are currently working with the Design for Disciples Bible Study Series, developed by the Navigators.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

God's comfort and love has been spread to hundreds of Mt. Carmel East patients through this ministry. Many people believe God is really wrapping His arms around them when they wear these shawls. All are welcome to join this group, where we have fellowship and prayer.

We meet on the first and third Mondays of the month, from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the church. You don't have to be accomplished in knitting or crocheting to participate in this project. We will teach you! Come and help us plant God's seeds.

Materials needed: 3 skeins of homespun yarn, and a size N-13 or P-15 crochet hook or size 10.5 through 15 knitting needles.

New Worship Schedule and Services Begin January 4

9:00 am - "Classic" Worship. Formal structure, praising God in ways that are familiar and comforting....but that also stimulate and challenge. Come share in the great hymns and the Lord's Supper, and be energized by God's Word.

10:15 am - Sunday Morning Blend. No matter which worship service you choose, you can meet and make friends between the services in our beautifully remodeled lounge. Experience the real hospitality of the people of ECCC and blend coffee and conversation.

11:00 am - All Things New. Flexible format where praise and worship songs uplift the spirit, and God's Word challenges the mind and heart. Here, the Lord is always the One offering true hope and change.

Childcare will be provided throughout the morning.

Children and Adult Christian Education classes will be offered during All Things New.

You Can Make a Difference in a Child’s Life!

Volunteers are needed to lead our two new Christian Education classes, K-7, and 8-12. Workbooks and manuals will be supplied for your assistance. If you would like to become more involved with the church, please consider this opportunity to serve God by helping the children of East Columbus Christian Church.

Women's Bible Study

Come join the women of the church on Thursdays, from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., for bible study. They are currently studying the Minor Prophets. Classes are held at a parishoner's home. For more information, please call Martha Hays, 868-0496.
